Variable Sawhead

Our own development based on several years of experience, brought us to the SL-Serie.
Angled sawhead with variable blade lenght settings. Increased productivity and output of the mill.
Winner of the "KWF-Innovations prize 2004".

The sawmill of theSL-Serie allows the operator to adjust the log passage of the mill according to the log diameter. The hydraulic blade tension allows you to use different blade lenghts. Long blades for big logs and short blades for small logs.

The blade guard aroung the left wheel moves together with its wheel while tensioning the blade. This gives you enough place to cut logs as big as 1,30 mts (Bavaria SL130). See left picture. By using a short blade you cut logs of a diameter up to 1 mts. See right picture.

Your advantage: Since most of the logs you cut are smaller than 1 m, you can cut most of the time with short blades. Because of the fact that the wheels are closer to the log you are able to cut much more faster, getting a higher output.
